Blogging for a Cause: The Polish Chest for Polished Girlz

We're up to the ninth blogger in my guest post series. Isn't this fun? Today I have seriously one of my fave bloggers. I'm not sure how I came across Danny from The Polish Chest...but I found her early on in my nail blogging obsession. Her nail beds are perfect! (Is that weird for me to notice that? LOL) Her posts are so simple, yet so refined. I love that about her blog. And you know, English isn't even her SECOND language?! Wow. Anyway, for those who haven't followed her before, I hope you do. Her blog is a delight! Thank you, Danny, for helping out.

I'll be donating $10 more to the Polished Girlz for Danny's contribution! If this is the first post you've read in the WPP "Blogging for a Cause" Guest Post Series...pop over to the intro post here to see what an amazing organization each of these bloggers are supporting with their participation.

Danny from the Polish Chest

Hello Ladies,

I’m Danny from Germany and I’m a student. One day I’ll be a teacher for biology and philosophy. But today it’s all about nail polish. My love for nail polishes started in 2008 and has grown ever since. Three years ago I started my blog called Polish Chest and it's all about nail polish. When Leslie asked me if I wanted to be one of the guest bloggers, I immediately said yes. And when she told me about the charitable motive behind this project, I was even more dedicated. I think the Polished Girlz is such an amazing charity. It’s a big honor for me to write for her. Leslie is one of the best nail bloggers on earth. I love her nails, her designs and her personality. And one day I want to be at least half as good.

Stamping isn’t new to us but I’m a real beginner when it comes to stamping. I recently discovered my love for stamping (thanks to MoYou). And even though I have to improve my stamping skills, I wanted something stamped. I painted my nails with ANNY - Fake Fur - a lovely taupe-y, grayish purple - and stamped with essie - Penny Talk over it. Penny Talk is a metallic rosegold and it’s just perfect for combination with a color like Fake Fur. It’s not the typical combination you would expect for Christmas but I love these two together and I think they’re just enough festive to wear them in these days. For the motif I’ve used the MoYou Time Traveller Back to the 70’s plate which has these amazing XL designs to cover longer or wider nails.

So thank you, Leslie, for having me! It was a great honor and I wish you all the best with Polished Girlz! And to all of you: Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! <3
