Mimi from Makeup Withdrawal
Hello! I'm Mimi from the blog MakeupWithdrawal. One of the highlights of going to CosmoProf North America this past July was meeting fellow bloggers such as Leslie! It was incredible to meet someone who creates such high quality content for her blog - aren't her pictures to die for? I'm very honored today to be writing a guest post for her.I love everything peppermint flavored, so that was the inspiration for this holiday themed manicure. I always get so pumped the second I see Ghirardelli Peppermint Bark hit the shelves (ok, well with Christmas merchandise coming out earlier and earlier every year, this happens around Hallowen, but still). So I created a skittlette with a different red and white look for each nail.
I used quite a few red polishes for this manicure, altogether eight polishes. The same white was used all across this manicure, OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls. On my thumb, I've created a gradient using white as well as Zoya Livingston and topped it with Sally Hansen Rosey Shooter. My pointer finger is uses the watermarble technique, featuring white, TheBalm Hot Ticket Strawberry Fields Forevah and Morgan Taylor Man of the Moment. My middle finger uses Pure Ice First Party dabbed over that same white. On the ring finger, the base color is Wicked Polish Cardiac Arrest with the candy canes hand drawn with acrylic paints. Last but not least, my pinky finger is Glitter Gal Code Red drizzled with white using the sugar spun method.
Here's an extra shot up of my thumb.

Thank you for checking this manicure out! Leslie, thank you so much for having me as a guest blogger. Happy holidays!
