Digit-al Dozen Does Fashion: Atelier Versace Inspired Mani using NEW INGLOT Nail Art Products

 press sample
It's day two of Digit-al Dozen Fashion Week. Today I'll be using some brand spanking NEW bling from INGLOT. Just yesterday, INGLOT launched a collection of 14 Sparkling Nail Enamels and 10 Nail and Body Art Spangles. I've seen all of these items in person and every single one is gorgeous! It definitely makes for a high end mani!  Today's fashion nail art is inspired by the dress Donatella Versace designed for Halle Berry to wear to the 2013 Oscars [image source]. Click the pic to get a closer look at this dress. Can you imagine how jaw-dropping  this was in person?!

I started with two coats of pure black polish. The stripes are INGLOT Sparkling Nail Enamel in #52. These new enamels come in tall, thin 9ML glass bottles with a striping brush. The formula is on the thick side because the glitter is so incredibly dense! #52 is an amazing holographic silver. My pics seriously do not do it justice. The sparkle is blinding!

I freehanded the stripes by sort of dabbing and pulling the brush to make a thick line. If some glitter got "out of line" (ha ha...no pun intended), then I used an orangewood stick to push it into place before it dried. Any stray sparkles or accidentally scraped black basecoat were fixed at the end with a small art brush and more black polish. Here's the first pic again without dear Halle.
