Butter London Jack the Lad and Finger Paints Figure of Art Saran Wrap Mani

I can't believe the end of January is already here! Before I know it, the weather will be warmer...so time's a wastin' to try my winter untrieds. Today I have a Saran Wrap Mani using Butter London Jack the Lad and Finger Paints Figure of Art

This is the first time I've used either of these polishes.

I would have never picked up Jack the Lad on its own because it's green. The "Collection Collector" in me wanted the complete holiday set so I put this one right into my shopping cart with the others! I'm really pleasantly surprised. It's a forest green glitter, but has blue and gold ultra fine sparklies in there too. It's on the sheer side - I used three coats. I must say...it's pretty spectacular!

After Jack the Lad dried, I applied one coat of Finger Paints Figure of Art and quickly dabbed it with a small wad of Saran Wrap. Finger Paints are sold at Sally Beauty Supply. I don't know much about them. Figure of Art is a bronze metallic that's part of their permanent line.

Have you tried this technique? What do you think of Finger Paints?

  2. I love the saran wrap technique! I recently used it to "spice up" a day old mani. I used OPI Goldeneye and it gave the teal polish underneath an awesome antique look!

  3. I really like Jack the Lad. I was this close to picking it up when I still worked at Macy's and had a discount on butter london, but I decided not to buy it. Sigh...
