 press sample
We're on the homestretch! Today is Day 4 of Pure Ice week. Don't forget that every single polish swatched this week will be gifted to one lucky winner in my current giveaway!! But guess what!?!? It gets even better! Hop on over to the initial contest post and see how the prize just got a little sweeter!!! Let's jump right in and chat about six more polishes...

On His Saddle:

This one immediately made me think of the ocean. It's a metallic-y dark turquoise blue. The formula was super creamy. You could almost get away with one coat.

Emerald Crush:

Emerald Crush is an olive green base tinted with gold-ish green shimmer and filled with small emerald green glitters. The name suits it perfectly. Application was easy. It was almost opaque in two coats but there’s still some barely visible nail line.

Free Fall:

Free Fall is a bright hot pink with a slight shimmer. The formula was on the thin side, but it covered in two coats. I probably have at least 20 polishes just like it in my stash. But if you’re in need of an almost neon pink…go for it.

Gift of Gold:

This polish is a frosty jasmine yellow…definitely on the pale end of gold. The bottle has some traces of shimmer, but you really have to concentrate to see it on the nail. The formula was nice with minimal brush strokes. I'm on the fence as to whether this suits my skin tone. But it gets big points for being an office-friendly gold. Yup - you won't hear me say that very often!

Kissing Cupid:

I would describe this one as a deep brick red. I have a soft spot for creme polishes. (I know that's ridiculously saying I have a softspot for four-door sedans.) But I love a good creme. My swatch is two coats.

I was/am really excited about this one. It's a grayish tinted base with multi-colored microglitter. I see fuschia, blue, pink, red, purple, black, silver, maybe gold. I've layered two coats over All Vamped Out. You could probably get this one opaque on its own, but to save coats, I layered it over a darker polish. The formula was good…but not surprisingly, it's topcoat hungry.

Pure Ice Five-Some Swatch

So what's your favorite out of this batch? Mine? Five-Some by a landslide. It looks expensive. So hopefully you've jumped on over to my contest post and got an update! :)
