I went into this mani with absolutely no plan. I only knew I wanted to use my new nail art brushes and would start with My Boyfriend Scales Walls from the OPI Spiderman Collection. It seems like every nail art sample on the interwebs lately is incorporating this polish in some way. So I jumped on the bandwagon.
My Boyfriend Scales Walls is an off-white cream. But not in an ivory way, but rather in a gray way. It makes the polish much more wearable, in my opinion. Since this has been a week of news (e.g., new to Magnetix, new to the Spiderman Collection, new brushes, etc.), I decided to try out acrylic paint for the first time too. I found some green paint (phthalocyanine green) in a box from my old fine art degree days in college.
So this "No Plan" mani is two coats of My Boyfriend Scales Walls...followed by a random greenish teal acrylic vine-like nail art. I finished with a matte topcoat from Sephora by OPI.
