You can never judge a polish by the bottle. I relearn that lesson over and over. Stylenomics is Essie's Fall 2012 Collection. None of the polishes "spoke" to me, so I was going to say pass this time around. But then, as a pleasant and unexpected gift, my French cousin (well, I like to say she's french) brought me the collection's dark green creme...called...Stylenomics.
Indeed, I changed my mind about it after the very first coat. It's much less teal on the nail than in the bottle and it's so dark, it could almost pass for black. It's just a rich, deep color with an awesome formula that was completely opaque in two easy coats. How could I make it even more fabulous? Add a few accent nails in my favorite full glitter ever, China Glaze I'm not a Lion.
I used hole reinforcers to tape off my thumb and ring fingers, then added one coat of I'm not a Lion. I love the dark green with the neutral, flashy gold.
How can you not love this glitter? I'd wear it every day if I could!
Ever been shocked by a polish that you didn't like in the bottle but loved on your nails?
