Dance Floor: Zoya Astra and Sally Hansen White On

Well, this border nails technique was way easier than the last one. Not to mention, way cooler. But anything with glitter will always win any contest in my mind! For this mani, I started with two coats of Sally Hansen White On. It's a bright, smooth, opaque white. After a coat of Seche Vite and ten minutes, I taped off the tips. Then I used Zoya Astra...which is total awesomeness of pink and red fine glitter in a pink base to "cut in" the center, attempting to keep the polish equadistant from my cuticle all the way around.

Astra is so densely packed. I did two quick, loose, swipes over each nail to ensure maximum glitteriness before removing the tape. I didn't have any issues with the polish bleeding.

I purposely didn't use a final topcoat. I like the difference in texture on the nails. It reminds me of a little raised disco dance floor. Here's a shot under a day lamp. I just love the straight lines and the bright white against the sparkle.
