Fantasy French: China Glaze Caribbean Temptation French

I wish the photos did this mani justice. It really is stunning. Especially since I used just regular polish and craft microbeads!

I taped off the tips of all my nails. Then one nail at a time, I polished a thick coat of China Glaze Caribbean Temptation and immediately removed the tape. Don't worry about a perfect line. Any polish that runs under the tape because of the thick coat won't be sticky enough to hold beads. Over a bowl, I poured Recollections craft microbeads in Passion onto the wet polish. Using an orangewood stick, I pressed the beads into the polish and cleaned up any strays. After all ten nails were dry, I polished the tips in a thick coat of Celeb City by Sally Hansen and added silver microbeads (again, one nail at a time). Take the orangewood stick and press it flat against the top edge of your nail. The beads will line up in a tidy row.

I didn't use a topcoat because it can make the dye on the beads run. But the manicure is surprisingly durable without it and certainly would last through an event. I love it!
